About the home

In 2003 the home underwent extensive refurbishment to include thirty single rooms, eighteen of which have en-suite facilities. Rooms are decorated and elegantly furnished to a high standard. All rooms have television, a digital telephone service and a nurse call system.

Communal areas include a lounge on each floor and a light, airy conservatory dining room leading onto an attractive terrace.

Daily life

Breakfast is served in residents' rooms at 8:00am. Luncheon and supper are served at 12.30pm and 5.45pm in the dining room, although residents may dine in their own rooms if they wish. Morning coffee and afternoon tea are served daily.

Weekly activities are held within the home including art and craft, gentle exercise and poetry.

Residents may wish to visit shops, restaurants and cafes situated in nearby Summertown.
